Are your products eligible for my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA)?

Yes, simply pay with your FSA/HSA debit card at the checkout on mommymatters.com, or pay with another method and submit your receipt to your plan administrator for reimbursement (at your provider's discretion). These products include: NeoHeat, NeoBrief, Perineal Spray, Postpartum Panty, and Belly Wrap.

Is NeoHeat FDA Approved?

NeoHeat is FDA registered as a class IIA Registered Medical Device. NeoHeat is a perineal heater intended to help soothe and heal the perineum after an episiotomy.

Can I use NeoHeat if I am still bleeding?

Yes! The built-in pad in the NeoBrief absorbs those inevitable leaking fluids, including blood and lochia, keeping your treatment easy and mess-free.

Can I return NeoHeat for a refund?

No tear to repair? If the shrink wrap on your NeoHeat box is intact, you can return it within 90 days for a full refund—but might we suggest saving it for a future birth, or any of the (many) other ingenious uses for red light therapy? 😉 Due to the intimate nature of the device, if the shrink wrap is opened, we cannot accept returns of NeoHeat.

I don't know what my postpartum size will be. Which panty size should I order?

We recommend selecting 1 size up from your regular size for immediate use after birth. As you progress in your postpartum journey, you may find that you want to size down. We’ve included a size chart on the product page to help.

How long can I wear the postpartum panty?

Everyone’s postpartum flow is different, so you can wear them for as long as needed. The absorbency of our panty is about 5 regular tampons’ worth. So for some mamas, that means wearing them the whole day, and for others that may mean needing to have an extra pair or 2 for backup.

Do your materials have PFOA?

We are proudly PFOA-Free, eco-friendly and Prop 65 compliant.

HEAL Postpartum Panty materials:

  • Mesh: 90% Polyester, 10% Spandex
  • Gusset Top layer: 70% Cotton, 30% bamboo
  • Gusset 2nd layer/Terry Cloth: 100% Polyester
  • Elastic: 70% Nylon, 30% Spandex

Postpartum Belly Wrap materials:

  • 10% Spandex. 90% polyester

Are your fabric products machine washable?

Yes! The panty, belly wrap, and slipcover for the pillow are all machine washable. For best results, and the longevity of the product, we recommend the gentle cycle and cold water in the washer and lay flat or line dry. With the panties, do not use any fabric softener as it can affect the absorbency of the pad.

How frequently do I need to use the Soothe Perineal Spray?

Use as often as needed for relief from pain & irritation. For extra cooling relief, keep your bottle in the fridge!

Is the Nourish Stretch Mark Cream only for my belly?

Not at all! This ultra-moisturizing lotion can be used wherever your body needs some TLC.

Do your postpartum products contain any ingredients that could be harmful to me or my unborn baby?

We have sourced all ingredients to ensure we are providing the safest formulations for you and your baby. Both our Perineal Spray and Stretch Mark Cream are free of parabens, phthalates and sulfates. You can view their ingredient lists on the product pages.

How do I pay with my HSA or FSA card?

To use your HSA or FSA debit card, add eligible products to your cart. At checkout, select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” as your payment option, enter your HSA or FSA debit card, and complete your checkout as usual. If you don’t see “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA,” select “checkout as guest” to view more payment options.

What if I don’t have my HSA/FSA card available?

If you don’t have your HSA or FSA card handy, still select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” as your payment method. Enter your credit card information and Flex will email you an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement.

Why is my HSA/FSA card being declined?

HSA/FSA cards are debit cards, and the most common reason for declines is insufficient funds. Reach out to your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm your balance.

Help! I did not receive my itemized receipt.

My HSA/FSA Claim was denied. What should I do?

We strongly recommend checking with your HSA/FSA provider to see if a purchase is eligible prior to completing the purchase. However, if you believe your claim has been wrongly denied, please send over any response from your HSA/FSA provider to us so we can share it with Flex and receive guidance on the next best steps to take. Please note that employer-sponsored FSAs can determine what products are eligible beyond the IRS’s guidelines, so it’s extremely important to check prior to purchase.
